Invictus UK Trials
As part of the week long Invictus UK Trials (22-26 July), cycling competitors will be riding the Sheffield Grand Prix Circuit (See route map) on Wednesday, 24 July. Following this, the annual Sheffield Grand Prix will commence with Youth racing for boys and girls followed by a regional support race and to finish off the day with what is regarded as one of the highlights of the elite circuit series calendar. The elite event attracts some of the country’s top professional riders.
Given the size of the event, this inevitably involves changes to services and the introduction of traffic management measures. The Council is putting plans in place to minimise disruption, but road closures and diversions are required to form the circuit and to ensure the safety of the participants.
As there is no vehicle access onto the circuit, if you have DELIVERIES the Council asks that you please look to reschedule outside of the event times. If this is not possible please contact Julie King (details below) to discuss access times.
