Nominations are open for Voluntary Action Sheffield’s Make A Difference Awards

Following the success of the 2016 awards Voluntary Action Sheffield (VAS)’s Make A Difference Awards will make a return to Sheffield in November.

Sheffield BID is proud to sponsor the awards, which are dedicated entirely to rewarding and making some noise for local voluntary, community and charitable organisations and the huge impact these have in Sheffield.

Nominations are now open to Sheffield organisations for these awards. With seven categories to choose from, you can nominate your own organisation as well as other organisations doing good work in the city. For the first time individuals will also be recognised as VAS launches the Champion of the Voluntary Sector award.

Sheffield BID is sponsoring the Voice and Influence award at the awards ceremony, which will take place at The Octagon at the University of Sheffield. Lord Mayor of Sheffield Magid Magid will be presenting awards as part of an evening long celebration of the sector hosted by Seth Bennet and featuring a special DJ appearance from the Everly Pregnant Brothers’ Big Shaun.

Nominations are open now and will close on Friday 28 September at 5pm. Click here to nominate.
